An amazing piece of art, transcending all 80’s awesomeness
The fine chaps over at Goodleg Toys kindly share details of their latest custom bootleg release… the mighty MANBORG! Based on the lead protagonist of 2012’s cult B-movie hit, the guy’s first ever 3.75″ figure was created with the help of the official Manborg fan page, featuring a vintage kit-bashed body with some extensive re-sculpting very much in-keeping with the spirit of the film. Cast in resin with fully articulated, neo-mag connected joints, the hand painted figure is due to come packed on an authentic blister style backer. Given the thumbs up by the ‘Fanborgs’ as of yesterday (yep, that’s what they’re really called!), we’re told to expect a limited run of these in the very near future.
